Hello,
I have received a few inquires regarding the late judging times of a few of your students. Some students have been scheduled after 4:30. The times are correct but I realize now that I failed to mention that there will be no 4:30 recital.
Many of our levels had a total of only 13-15 students registered. The website states that if a level exceeds 15 students it will be split into two sublevels. Because we didn’t have enough students to do this, the levels were not split and therefore we ended up with only 23 sublevels. As the recitals were being set up, it became obvious that 23 sublevels could not fill 3 recitals so the 4:30 recital was eliminated.
I hope this clarifies matters for you. If it does not, please let me know.

Hello,
The schedule for the Sonatina competition is now available online. Please know that every effort was made to keep families with more than one participant within a reasonable amount of time. This was not always possible due to many levels only being offered once throughout the day. In addition to considering siblings, the system is also designed to separate students within the same studio when more than one sublevel is offered.
Volunteer schedules have also been assigned. You are able to confirm your volunteer position on the website just below the student schedule. Please take a moment to confirm you have viewed your volunteer position. The times listed are not accurate. They are only an estimate of morning and afternoon. An email will be sent within the next few days with your exact volunteer shift. If you have not entered your volunteer yet you will need to do so immediately.
Thank you,
Bronwen Godfrey

Sonatina Registration closes today (10/15/18) at midnight!!!
Please do not wait until the very last minute especially if you have ‘transfer’ students that you need to have their records transferred to your account before you can register them.
Don’t forget that you have to go in a pay for the registrations before the student is completely registered.
You also need to log into your account. On the left side click “Manage Volunteers” and enter your volunteer information. That information is required for registration as well. Even if you think you have already completed this part of the process…PLEASE go back in and check it. We have 27 teachers with students entered and only 14 volunteers. Each teacher is required to provide a volunteer for the competition.
Thank you!

TVMTA Teachers:
Just a couple of little reminders….
- We have 2 websites. One of them is ONLY for registering students for Sonatina Competition & Certificate of Achievement. http://treasurevalleymtaregistration.org
- The other website is for all of the TVMTA calendar of events, membership directory, newsletters/emails, and information about the Certificate of Achievement Program & Sonatina Competition. We cannot combine these 2 websites. They do completely different things. Please be sure that you are checking on this site for updated information on events. http://www.treasurevalleymta.org/
- When you enter your volunteers for any event (Sonatina or Certificate of Achievement) you need to click on “Volunteers” (at the top left under ‘my account’ and ‘students’) and then enter your volunteers. Clicking on the “Volunteer Schedule” under the event will only show you what volunteer assignments have been made AFTER we have made those assignments. You still have to enter your volunteers under “Volunteers”. We will work on getting that name changed to “Manage Volunteers”.
- EVERY TEACHER even if you are not participating in Sonatina Competition needs to log into their teacher account http://treasurevalleymtaregistration.org and update their student list. If you have students that are no longer in your studio click “Delete” next to their name. All this does is delete them from your list. Their information and record remains in the computer system. We will work on getting that button name changed to “remove student from list”. Please do this!! I have teachers contacting me because they are trying to register a student for an event and if they are still on your studio list I have to contact to you to see if it’s ok to transfer the records.
Thank you for your help in these things. If you have any questions or need help please contact me.
